Common Moorhen, gallinula chloropus

A male Common Moorhen displays his tailfeathers while bobbing up and down with his wings raised to attract a mate. Moorhens like wetlands with large areas of open water, although they are usually found swimming and walking around in the shallows in the margins of ponds, lagoons, marshes, and streams.
