One of the most exciting demonstrations of teamwork, finesse and strength is the rodeo sport of steer wrestling. It is the job of the hazer with his horse to keep the running steer in line so that the bulldogger can jump off his own mount onto the steer, grabbing it by the horns as he does so. In this image you can just see the moving legs of the steer as it is kept in line between the two horses. The bulldogger has already slid off his horse, and as soon as the thundering hooves of the two horses are out of the way the cowboy will wrestle the steer to the ground. |
