Sterrenberg and Liebenstein

The castles of Sterrenberg and Liebenstein face each other on a hilltop above the Rhine River in Germany. They are famous for a bitter rivalry between two brothers, one was the "good son" and stayed home with his Father, while the other went off to the Crusades. The wayward son returned with an eastern princess for his wife, breaking the heart of the bride that had waited for him for years.
