St Davids is known as the UK's smallest city, any other settlement of a similar size would be considered a village. The site of a large cathedral and historic Bishop's Palace, the town is now a quiet Pembrokeshire backwater except when the tourist buses roll in. Few of those travellers have time to venture into the back lanes off the main street. Welsh houses are often charmingly painted in seaside colours of pink, yellow and blue, contrasting nicely with the more sober stone of the Methodist chapel in the background. Taken in October, 2006.
