Roseate Spoonbill (Platalea ajaja)

Roseate spoonbill (Platalea ajaja) in brilliant mating plumage landing on a branch. Beautifully colored these birds may be, but they have truly unattractive heads and bills, and they are ungainly and clumsy when taking off and landing.
