Proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus) in the Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary

Male proboscis monkeys leave the troop they were born into when they reach adulthood. They hang out with other bachelors until they grow large and strong enough to attract females and form a troop of their own.
