Walking down a lane in the Cotswolds we paused to admire this fine pedigree British Shorthair cat. There was no doubt that we were in the presence of a true aristocrat, as it sauntered across the track in front of us and then sat down and ignored us completely. The yellow eyes, fine plush fur, and broad head are characteristics of both males and females of the breed.
