The Cloister at the Abbey Fontfroide
Marble columns with ornate carving in the cloister at the Abbey of Fontfroide. Each pillar is made of a different kind of marble, and each has a different decorative capital. The Abbey was an immensely wealthy center of orthodoxy that played a central role in the Albigensian Crusade.
