Flamingo
Flamingoes are very social birds, colonies of tens of thousands are common. Synchronized breeding behaviour is frequent, with several hundred to several thousand birds all involved simultaneously with ritualized postures and movements. Females usually lay just one large egg. Both parents take turns incubating the egg, and watch protectively over the chick when it has hatched.
