| Named by Cree Indians for the ravens that inhabit the area, Crowsnest Mountain towers over the landscape near the Crowsnest Pass in Alberta. The peak is geological formation known as a klippe, where the underlying rocks are younger than the ones above. It is 9137 feet high, and was first climbed in 1904. | ||||||||||||||||||
