Weathered tree and overgrown stone wall, Corraun, Ireland

weather tree in ridged field in Corraun

A stunted tree is permanently bent by the winds that sweep through the gap on the Corraun Peninsula, Ireland. Crumbled dry stone walls and grass covered ridges are what remains of fields where potatoes were grown before the Great Famine nearly 200 years ago.
