The brightly colored restored warehouses of Clarke Quay contrast with glass office towers and the architecture of the Swisshotel Merchant Court. Historic bumboats which once ferried cargo between ocean going vessels and the quayside now take tourists on 30 and 45 minute boat rides between Marina Bay and the Singapore River.
