This one is a study in textures and colour. The deep shadow created by the water draining from a wetland across from Broadhaven beach has created one of Nature's abstracts. I like the contrast between the coarse grains of the sand above the shelf, and the smoothly sculpted rivulets below. The patch of brilliant blue, reflecting the clear sky of a perfect autumn day adds to the excitement of this image. Taken in October, 2006.
