foothills and the Bighorn Mountains

If you drive through southern Montana and northern Wyoming, you see the Bighorn Mountains rising dramatically from the plains. This image was taken in mid-November. The afternoon light at this time of year creates wonderful interplays of light and shadow in the rolling foothills.
