Balcony
This beautiful wrought iron balcony and the old fashioned green shutters are typical of the antebellum architecture of historic Savannah. The first colonial and state capital of Georgia, Savannah's prosperity centered around her port. Savannah is the location for the non-fiction novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, by John Berendt, and the popularity of the book and the subsequent film has contributed to the revival of the tourist industry and the rebirth of the city.
